PO City
The Stockholm City Police Area is Stockholm's most trafficked police area where over a million people move every day. The geographical area spans two municipalities from the bustling city center to the quieter Lidingö.
The Stockholm City Police Area is divided into three local police areas: Northern Inner City, Lidingö-Kungsholmen, and Södermalm. At the police area level, there are serious crime sections, investigation sections, sections for crimes in close relationships, operational support sections, and a news section. Furthermore, there is a police area office.
Office
The task of the area office is to support the area management with operational coordination, management, and follow-up of operations. The office coordinates issues, supports operational branches, and the police area as a whole.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Tasks
As an education administrator, you provide important support in the Stockholm City Police Area's competence supply by coordinating and planning the area's various educational initiatives in both the short and long term.
Your job responsibilities include, among other things:
- Acting as co-responsible for the area's needs inventory and based on this, administer all competence development in the police area.
- Being co-responsible for the area's education council.
- Representing the police area in the region's education forum.
- Having contact and collaborations with employees within the police area, colleagues, contact persons, and managers as well as with the region and HR.
- Managing the hiring of trainers/instructors.
- Reporting and giving presentations regarding the educational situation and its initiatives.
- Participating in development work within the educational field.
QUALIFICATIONS
This is an opportunity for you who have:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience deemed relevant by the employer.
- Relevant and current administrative experience in coordination or management deemed relevant by the employer.
- Good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel.
- Good ability to express yourself well and clearly in speech and writing in Swedish.
- Good knowledge of English.
It is meritorious if you also have:
- Experience of similar tasks from the authority or another authority.
- Experience in giving presentations/reports in front of others.

You have a good structure where you can plan and organize your work well in your daily tasks. Furthermore, you are self-driven and appreciate taking responsibility for the educational initiatives you are responsible for. As a person, you are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions. You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and you strive to deliver solutions. You are flexible and can reprioritize tasks when the work requires it. Since the assignment involves collaboration with different operations and functions, you should enjoy working with others and have a communicative and pedagogical approach. Furthermore, we see that you have the ability to see the big picture but also the details that can be crucial. Other tasks of various kinds may also be added, which is why we place high demands on flexibility, adaptability to change, and solution focus.
